From the portfolio: Food Forward

Born out of a collaboration between Food Hub and Rabobank, Food Forward maps the full regional and national range of food entrepreneurs. The platform provides entrepreneurs with access to network, knowledge and financing, stimulating innovation and collaboration, with the aim of accelerating the food transition.

Food change starts here

In 2019, Food Hub launched an intensive and successful partnership with Rabobank to create the Food Forward Tracks. In these tracks a group of agri-food professionals were challenged to think about solutions to regional food issues. In doing so, each region was given its own track, mapping trends and developments in the food and agro-economic landscape.

After 3 years, these tracks were completed and made Food Forward relaunch as an independent platform in 2022. Food Forward serves as a central meeting place where food entrepreneurs from across the Netherlands can find new opportunities for funding, knowledge and collaboration. In this way, it brings together entrepreneurs, farmers, policymakers and other stakeholders to work on solutions to the challenges in today's food system and thus accelerate the food transition.
