Basis on which we process personal data

Food Hub processes personal data on several bases:

For what purpose we process personal data

Food Hub processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Handling your payment.
- Sending our newsletter.
- Calling or emailing you if necessary to carry out our services.
- To inform you about changes to our services and products.
- To deliver goods and services to you.
- Food Hub analyzes your behavior on the website in order to improve the website and tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.
- Food Hub tracks your browsing habits across various websites to help us tailor our products and services to your needs.

How long we keep personal data

Food Hub will not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. In practice, we use a standard retention period of 2 years. This means that we will in principle keep your data for two years if you have participated in a Food Hub program/product. Exceptions to this are data that we must keep longer because the law requires us to do so, such as data for the Tax Office.

We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Retention period: personal data provided based on consent (e.g., to follow a Food Hub program or product) will be retained for 2 years, or as much longer as necessary.

Contact information (Address, phone number, email address)
Retention period: personal data provided based on consent (e.g., to follow a Food Hub program or product) will be retained for 2 years, or as much longer as necessary.

Payment data (Bank account number)
Retention period: payment data is kept for 2 years, except for data that we need to keep longer because the law requires us to do so.

Cookies
Data obtained through cookies about your activities and browsing behavior on our website. This retention period varies for each cookie. Specific information can be found in our cookie policy.

Application data
Retention period: 4 weeks after the end of the application process, unless otherwise indicated by the candidate. Then we apply a period of up to 1 year.

How we secure personal data

Food Hub B.V. takes the protection of your data extremely seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Food Hub does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities in order to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent.
