"Having been in the food business for many years, I thought I had seen most of it. But Butter, Cheese and Oat Milk really surprised me with new insights and perspectives. The book offers a fresh perspective on the challenges and opportunities within our food system. As far as I am concerned, it is an indispensable source of knowledge and should be required reading for anyone working in the sector."

About Butter, cheese and oat milk
Can we feed 8 billion people without destroying the earth? Joris Lohman plunged into the bewildering world behind our food. In search of the answer to this question, he takes the reader on a journey through the food chain: from biodynamic farms and a mega pig slaughterhouse in the Netherlands to a futuristic chicken hatchery in the Ivory Coast.
Butter, Cheese and Oat Milk rigorously tilts your view of agriculture, nutrition and health. Lohman cuts short the dream images of green idealists, but also sees that technology cannot solve everything. In the end, he manages to translate a complex reality into a hopeful story about the future of our food.
