Food Hub processes your personal data if you make use of our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we (potentially) process:

Legal basis for processing personal data

Food Hub processes personal data on the basis of various fixed criteria:

1. Based on legal requirement: the processing of personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation that rests on Food Hub.
   2. On the basis of an agreement: the processing of personal data is necessary to carry out a contract to which the data subject is party, or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject in order to implement a contract.
   3. On the basis of consent: the data subject has given consent(s) to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes. A data subject always has the right to withdraw their consent.

The purpose(s) for processing personal data:

Food Hub processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Processing your payment.
– Distributing our newsletter.
– To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to provide our services
– To inform you about changes to our services and products.
– To deliver goods and services to you.
– Food Hub analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and to tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.
– Food Hub follows your browsing behaviour on various websites with which we tailor our products and services to your needs.
– Food Hub also processes personal data if we are legally required to do so, such as information that we need for our tax return.

How long do we store personal data

Food Hub does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data is collected. In practice, we use a standard retention period of 2 years. This means that in principle we keep your data for two years if you have participated in a Food Hub program/product. Exceptions to this are the data that we have to keep for longer because the law obliges us to do so, such as data for the tax authorities.

Retention period: personal data provided on the basis of consent (for example to follow a program or product of Food Hub) will be stored for 2 years, or as long as is strictly necessary.

Retention period: personal data provided on the basis of consent (for example to follow a program or product of Food Hub) is stored for 2 years, or as much longer as necessary.

Payment details (Bank account number)
Retention period: payment data is kept for 2 years, with the exception of data that we must keep for longer because the law obliges us to do so.

Cookies
Data obtained via cookies about your activities and browsing behaviour on our website. This retention period differs per cookie. Specific information can be found in our cookie policy.

Job application details
Retention period: 4 weeks after the end of the application process, unless indicated otherwise by the candidate. Then we apply a maximum period of 1 year.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Food Hub B.V. does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity along with the request. In this copy, make sure your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) are blacked out. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Food Hub B.V. takes the protection of your data very seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Food Hub does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activity of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent.
